Our Impact
Humble Beginnings
Memphis’ chapter of 4Kidz finally started in August of 2024 after a year spent in the creation of it. The idea first came to Esha Aslam after being in a school club with Savannah Klepko that had similar activities. Esha & Savannah joined efforts with Emmalee Pound and came to the realization that creating a non-profit chapter for the Greater Memphis area would allow all high school students to create a joint effort to spread joy. Since then, 4Kidz began having monthly meetings.
Thanksgiving Event
On November 18, 2024, 4Kidz held a Thanksgiving-themed event to spread the spirit of thanks to the pediatric patients! Together, each volunteer and patient made a series of crafts and played games such as Jenga. Shown is the group of volunteers present at this meeting.
Drives for Baptist Children’s Hospital
Halloween Candy Drive
With the help of the Community Service Club at Houston High School, 4Kidz was able to spread the festive Halloween spirit to patients at this hospital. With a collection of over 120 goodie bags, we were able to bring the trick-and-treating to the patients’ rooms.
